Launch of My Yoga Practice on YouTube

Many people have asked me about my yoga practice and also to find some yoga videos to practice at home. I know that many people do not have the ability to access a high-quality yoga studio, so I felt moved to start recording some of my practices and sharing them via youtube on my Walk in Balance Channel



To be clear, I am currently in a 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course, but I am not a certified teacher yet. This reflects my current practice only and my style and teaching will likely change as I continue with my formal teacher training. 

My first yoga practice that I have shared on the channel is on the practice of self-compassion. All of my practices are designed to build a connection between mind, body, and spirit. I also think it is very important to reflect on the spirituality of yoga; it is not just a bunch of poses in comfy clothes! It is a path of progression designed to connect our awareness of self with a universal truth and awareness. My practices tend to be linked to a specific theme or purpose and the learning of mindfulness and yogic principles that lead to better physical and mental health.
